Different Types of Dinosaurs
Believe it or not scientist say that there may have been as many as 700 different types of dinosaurs. But there is a top five list of popular well-known dinosaurs – they include Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus and we would add a sixth popular dinosaur – Sunsetasaurus.
Since it’s been 68 million years since we’ve last seen a Tyrannosaurus rex (also known as a T-Rex) much of what we think about the T-Rex is based on what we’ve seen at the movies.
But the T-Rex’s bad rep was certainly well deserved. When it was alive, it was one of the most ferocious predators to ever walk the Earth. Its sharp teeth and claws made it the dinosaur that other dinosaur and caveman feared.
That’s why we are so fortunate to have Sunset around us these days. Don’t let her sharp teeth claws fool you. She’s definitely not your average T-Rex. She’s kind and helpful to everyone she meets.
